Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 oz. premium white tequila
1/2 oz. orange liqueur
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. blackberry habanero syrup*
Sweet and sour or margarita mix to taste
Kosher salt (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Shake ingredients over ice until very cold and pour into a margarita glass or a rocks/old fashioned glass. You may rim the glass with salt if you wish, but there's loads of flavor in this bad boy already!

Use good tequila. Patron and Don Julio are my favorites. Try and choose an orange liqueur that isn't too sweet since the syrup has plenty of sugar. Cointreau and Grand Marnier are fantastic if you want to splurge, but try and stay away from the cheap triple sec. If the drink is too strong for your palate (or you use cheap tequila), add sweet and sour or margarita mix.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
*The syrup is called Besito Caliente. It's made in southern New Mexico and is available at Eagle Ranch and on-line. The sweetness mellows the tequila just enough and the spiciness is perfect!
