3 potatoes
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 lb ground beef
3/4 c. tomato sauce
3/4 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1/3 c. sliced pitted black olives

Directions:
Directions:
Pare potatoes. Slice crosswise as thin as possible using food processor or sharp knife. In large skillet, melt butter. Add salt. Toss potatoes in butter to coat evenly. Line bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate with potato slices, reserving 8 slices for garnish. In same skillet, saute onions until golden. Add beef and cook until browned, breaking up with fork as it cooks. Add tomato sauce, cheese and black olives; mix well. Spoon meat mixture into potato lined pie shell. Garnish with extra potato slices. Bake at 350º for 0 - 45 minutes, until potatoes are soft and edges slightly browned. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6.
