2 cups sifted flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups broken pecans
1 cup butter
½ cup sifted confectionary sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325º. Mix flour and salt. In a separate bowl cream the butter. Gradually add the sugar and beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture gradually until combined well then stir in the nuts. Chill. Shape into pieces. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 23 minutes while warm roll in powder sugar.
