4 lbs Chicken cut in to frying size pieces
2 cups chopped carrots
1 small chopped onion
2 cups light cream
salt and pepper
parsley and dill sprigs(tied)
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in roaster and add salt and pepper; roast at 350º for half hour. Add carrots, onion and cream. Tie parsley and dill together with a string and add to the roaster. Toast for 1 hour or until chicken is done. Remove chicken and herbs, set aside. Shake 2 tbsp flour in 1/2 cup milk and add to the roaster to thicken the gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes.
