1 stick butter
1 C packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Lower heat slightly and continue boiling while stirring constantly.
Continue boiling until it makes a soft drop in cold water. (soft ball on candy thermometer)

Serve over vanilla ice cream.

If you cook too long, it will get very hard on the ice cream.
