8 slices of bacon, cut into roughly 1/2" pieces
1 medium white onion, thinly sliced
2 boxes of chicken broth
1 (14 1/2oz.) can of diced tomatoes
2 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, fry bacon until crisp. Pour off all but tbsp. of drippings. Cook onion in drippings for 3-4 minutes, until softened. Add broth, tomatoes, and steak sauce. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for 2-4 minutes. Stir in the bacon. Serve with lettuce sprinkled on top.
