* 4 8 oz Filet Mignon steaks
* 6 TBSP butter softened
* Salt
* Pepper
* 2 TSP Chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the broiler to high for 30 minutes
2. Prepare the meat by drying them with a paper
towel
3. Rub 1/2 TBSP butter per steak over the top and
bottom
4. Salt and pepper each steak
5. Put four oven proof plates on the bottom rack in
the oven when you start to preheat the oven and
through out the entire cooking time.
6. Place the filets in a broiler pan
7. Filets should be placed in the oven 5 to 6 inches
from the heat.
8. Turn steak halfway through cookling
9. When the meat is cooked carefully remove the
plates from the oven
10. Place 1 TBSP butter in the center of each plate
11. When the butter has melted, place a steak in
the center of the plate
12. Sprinkle a pinch of parsley on each steak and
another pinch around the butter

4-6 minutes per side - rare
5-7 minutes per side - medium rare
6-8 minutes per side - medium
7-9 minutes per side - medium well
8-11 minutes per side - well
