2 c butter 2 c sugar 2 c brown sugar
4 eggs 2 T vanilla
4 c flour
3 c oatmeal (measure and blend to fine powder in blender)
1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips 3 c chopped nuts
1 ( 8 oz) grated Hershey bar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together the flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Add chips, grated Hershey bar, and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes at 375º. Makes 112 cookies, but recipe can be halved.

These are a little trouble to make because you have to blend the oatmeal, but they are delicious. They make a big batch to take to showers or a party. The recipe was called $250 Cookie Recipe, but it was free to me. I'm not sure of its origin.
