Standard ingredients:
pomegranates (red or pink)
Chopped red delicious apples
pineapple tidbits
sliced bananas
chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
you can add other fruits such as pears, other types of apples, grapes(seedless), raisins. What every you desire fruit wise, you can add.

Topping option #1: Whipping cream, powdered sugar
Topping option #2: save pineapple juice drained from tidbits
3 egg yolks
2 T. pineapple juice
2 T. vinegar
1 T. sugar
dash of salt
1 T. butter
Whip Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine desired quantities of the above in a large bowl. Fold in sweetened whipped cream or instead of the sweetened whipped cream, a cooked dressing may be used by preparing in a double boiler (hot, not boiling water) egg yolks slightly beaten; add pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, salt and butter. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens slightly and barely coats a spoon. Cool to room temperature. fold in 1 cup whipped cream.
