1/2 cup shortening
3/4 sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 to 3 Tb milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, beat well. Add vanilla and orange peel. Alternate dry ingredients and milk. Mix well. Roll 1/8 in thick and cut with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 357º for 12 minutes
