2 cups pecans
2 cups flour, spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter at room temp(unsalted)
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

toast pecans, then process in food processor until finely ground. Mix in bowl, pecans, flour and salt set aside
beat butter and 1/3 cup sugar on med speed until light and fluffy 2-3 min, add vanilla
on slow speed mix flour mixture mix just till combined..(do not over mix)
shape into balls placing 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
bake, rotating the baking sheets halfway through, until just beginning to brown. 12-14 min. Let cool slightly on baking sheets. Roll cookies while warm in remaining powdered sugar a few at a time. place on rack to complete cooling. When cool roll again in powdered sugar to coat completely
