8 oz cream cheese – room temperature
½ cup butter/margarine – room temperature
1 ½ cup flour

Filling
3 tablespoons margarine
1 large onion, finely chopped
½ lb fresh mushrooms fried down or use 2 cans sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons flour
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon thyme
¼ cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pastry: Blend cheese and butter together with beaters until smooth, add flour, form into a ball and chill for at least 1 hour.
Filling:Fry first 3 ingredients until tender. Add flour and spices, add sour cream.

Roll pastry thin, cut into circle, fill with filling and fold over like a perogies. Wet the outside with beaten eggs, place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 450F for 10 minutes or until golden brown. These can be made ahead and frozen.
