4 c grated beets
1 c grated carrots
1 c peas
1 c cubed potatoes
1 sm diced onion
6-8 c water
2 c stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
1 can tomato soup
Dill weed

2-3 tbsp flour
1 1/2 c cream
1 c finely chopped onion
1/2 c margerine

Directions:
Directions:
Mix potatoes, carrots, beets and onion with water. Add salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Cook for 3/4 hour. Add peas, tomatoes, and tomato soup. Cook until vegetables are tender. In saucepan add margarine and fry onions. Once onions are translucent gradually add flour then slowly whisk in cream. add dill. Add mixture to borsch and boil for 5 min. Serve and enjoy. Can also be put into jars. or bag to freeze. mmmmmmmmm!
