11/2 c. flour
1 tsp. backing powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. softened butter
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
11/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Place the brown sugar and butter in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gradually stir in cinnamon ,salt, and flour and mix until thoroughly blended, then mix oats and raisins in with a wooden spoon.
Drop the dough on to cookie sheets about 11/2 inches apart. Bake about 12 minutes in a pre- heat 350º oven.
