1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 12 ounce package chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
combine flour, soda, salt, in a bowl and set aside

combine in another bowl sugars, butter, and vanilla beat till creamy add egg, beat well, gradually add flour mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonful's onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes. (don't over bake)
