Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Cream together:
1 cup + 6 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs

Add:
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
12 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 to 3/4 cup cocoa

Add:
1 cup milk or buttermilk
3/4 cup boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla

Filling:

Thicken over low heat
1 cup milk (regular)
5 tsp. flour
Then chill cooked mixture
Cream together:
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Slowly add cooked mixture and beat at high speed till fluffy.

Dough is real pasty. Only use small amount of dough on ungreased cookie sheet about the size of a quarter.

Bake at 450º for 5 minutes.

Cool.

Take two cookies and add filling in between. Refrigerate when done.
