4 chicken thighs, skin on
water
2 tsp. salt
4 C. flour
1 egg
2 C. milk
4 drops yellow food coloring
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer chicken thighs in water with 1 tsp. salt for about 3 hours. Add more water, if necessary. Remove chicken once cooked. Mix flour, egg, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 cup cold water in bowl to make a lumpy dough. Roll dough out flat and cut into 2 inch long strips. Drop strips into simmering broth, stirring occasionally. Remove skin and bones from chicken and tear into pieces. Add chicken back to broth. Cook 1 hour. Add milk, food coloring and season off heat.
