4 C. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 C. milk (very warm)
1 C. water (very warm)
3 C. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar and salt. Mix package of yeast into the milk. Add water to dry ingredients. Add milk mixture. Allow to rise 1-2 hours. Heat oil until hot. Cut palm-sized pieces of dough, stretch out slightly, put slits into dough with a knife. Put in oil until brown, turn over, take out. Place on napkin to cool. Serve with butter, jam, sugar or cinnamon.
