1. 1c. butter
1-1/4c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
1c. sour cream
1t. vanilla
2c. sifted cake flour
1t. baking powder
1/2t. soda
2. 1/2c. chopped nuts
1-1/2t. cinnamon
1/3c. sugar
3. Topping:
12T. dark brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
6T. milk
Nuts (added after cooking above)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Place half of batter in a greased 12x8x2 deep pan. Put half the batter in pan and then cover with the nut,cinnamon and sugar mixture. Spread half this mixture on batter, add remaining batter, then sprinkle rest of cinnamon mixture on top. Bake 350º 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Topping: Boil mixture until just before it spins a thread. Add nuts and spread over the cake. Put under broiler until it toasts (very quickly)
