3 eggs, 1 (15 oz.) can condensed milk, 1/2 c. lemon juice, 6 tbsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:

Separate eggs and put whites aside. Beat yolks slightly, Add milk and lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Use egg whites, 6 tbsp. sugar and cream of tarter to prepare meringue. Pour filling into crumb crust. Top with meringue. Bake at 350º about 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Chill.
