1 lb ground beef, browned
1-1/2c picante sauce
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg, divided
8oz uncooked elbow macaroni
3 tbsp butter
3tbsp flour
1-1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c Parmesan cheese

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350º Lightly spray 9" square baking dish
-Add picante sauce, tomato sauce,sugar, allspice,cinnamon & 1/8 tsp nutmeg to browned beef. Bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer uncovered for 10mn stirring frequently
-Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. Place in prepared baking dish.
-Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add flour, & mix until smooth. Add milk:cook & stir until thickened. Remove from heat. Add about 1/2 c of this white sauce to eggs, stir to blend well. Add egg mix to remaining white sauce. Stir in cheese.
-Stir about 1/2 c white sauce into macaroni, toss to coat completely. Spread meat sauce over macaroni. Top with remaining white sauce. Sprinkle with remaining nutmeg
_ Bake, uncovered 30-40mn or until knife comes out clean. Let stand 15 mn before serving.
