3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
8 ounce package cream cheese
Regular or real maple syrup
Bread

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and orange zest. Set aside. Slice very thin slices of cream cheese. Lay the slices on a sheet of wax paper for easy removal.

Heat a large skillet or griddle to medium-medium high heat and prepare with pan spray. Soak bread in mixture. Once the pan is hot put the soaked bread in pan then cook on one side until golden brown. Once turned, put cream cheese slices on every other piece and sandwich together. Cook each outer side until both sides are golden brown.

Remove from pan when done, let sit for a minute then slice the 'French toast sandwich' and serve with syrup.
