CAKE:
2 C. sugar
2 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 C. water
4 tsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 C. butter milk
Jelly roll pan

ICING:
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 stick of butter
4 tsp. cocoa
6 tsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
Grease jelly roll pan.
Sift sugar, flour and salt together in a large bowl.
Bring to a boil: 2 sticks of butter, water and 4 tsp cocoa.
Beat eggs, buttermilk, vinegar and baking soda.
Add sifted ingredients to egg mixture. Beat well and bake.

Icing:
Bring to a boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add powered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread on cake as soon as cake is removed from the oven
