1 large (or 2 small) bunch green onions
2 bell peppers
2 cans (22oz) tomatoes
1 bunch celery
1 large head green cabbage
several cloves garlic (optional)
Several bay leaves (optional)
1 package LiptonŠ Onion Soup Mix
6 beef bullion cubes (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut vegetables into small bite size pieces. Put all vegetables except tomatoes in pot. Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add tomatoes with juice. Bring to boil and heat thoroughly. Add soup mix and bouillon. Simmer 10 minutes. May be seasoned with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, etc . . . to taste. (add extra cabbage and tomatoes if desired)
