1 loaf French bread
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter
2 tbsp light corn syrup
5 eggs
1-1/2c milk
1-1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350
-Grease 9" X 13" baking dish. Slice bread thick ( 1/2 to 3/4 inch).
- Place sugar, butter & corn syrup in sm pan & cook until syrupy. Pour into greased pan.
-Arrange French bread slices in pan over syrup mix.
-Beat together eggs, milk & vanilla, pour over bread.
- Cover pan & refrigerate. (several hours to overnight)
- Bake uncovered for 30-45 mnš
