4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 pound butter, room temperature
1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 cup Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
Candy quality chocolate, melted
2 pounds almonds, roasted in advance

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients and separate into three portions. Place in bowls and freeze for a day or two.
Remove one bowl at a time. Make into 3/4 inch balls and return to freezer. Let freeze hard.
Remove from freezer and quickly dip each ball in melted chocolate and roll in chopped roasted almonds.

Roasted Almonds: Spread 2 pounds finely chopped almonds on cookie sheet. Bake at 300º, stirring often. Brown to a deep orange color. Put into a brown paper bag to absorb to oil.
