5 lbs flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp salt
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
2 lbs butter, melted
1 quart milk} warmed with canned milk
1 small can of canned milk
4 eggs
1 yeast packet dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
2 lbs sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a large bowl.
Beat 3 eggs together with melted butter, warmed milk and dissolved yeast. Add to flour mixture.
Mix with a large spoon and then knead with hands for 15 minutes until dough forms a big ball. (dough will be soft not floury or dry. It is a wetter/soft dough) Put back in bowl, cover with towel and let rise over night.

Filling:
Mix together 1 egg and grated sharp cheese.

Pull off golf ball size dough and roll thin. Add about 2 Tbsp cheese mixture to center of dough then close together like a turnover. Brush with egg mixture (2 eggs with some water, beaten)
Bake at 400º for 15 - 20 minutes.
***You may add chopped fresh parsley to cheese filling if you want. I am not a fan so we don't use the parsley!)***
