Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Meatloaf:
1/3 c. Panko bread crumbs (crushed Rice Chex works great for gluten free)
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 c. fresh basil or 2 tsp. dried basil
2 tbsp. tomato paste
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork (Jimmy Dean sausage works fine)
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Glaze:
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Saute onions in olive oil, until clear. Add onions to the rest of the ingredients and mix well. I like to mix in my mixer with dough hook.
Combine glaze ingredients in small saucepan and cook over low heat until brown sugar dissolves.
Line baking pan with bread slices this soaks the grease up so your meat loaf isn't greasy. Shape meat loaf on top of bread slices, and top with glaze Bake for approximately 1 hour. More glaze can be added after 1/2 hour of baking. Meat temperature should be 160ºF in the middle.
