For pound cake:

1/2 cup Crisco solid vegetable oil
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup milk
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup. self rising flour
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring

Frosting:

2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup Crisco solid vegetable oil
4 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º.

Cream 1/2 cup Crisco and 2 cups sugar for 10 minutes.

Add 4 eggs to mixture, one egg at a time. Add milk, all purpose, self-rising flour and butternut flavoring and mix well.

Place pan of water under pound cake pan while baking and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done.

Cream powdered sugar, Crisco , milk and butternut flavoring. Spread on totally cool cake.
