4 to 6 c milk (heat, don't boil)
2 c finely chopped canned tomatoes
little salt and pepper
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp butter

Heat milk. Heat tomatoes in separate pan. After they are hot add about 1/4 tsp baking soda. Skim off foam. Add milk to tomatoes. Stirring constantly. Add a Tbsp butter
