Directions:
Use 2 quart glass pitcher; cook on HIGH

Cook 4 minutes: 1 C. brown sugar; 1/2 C. white sugar, 1/2 C. regular milk. Stir occasionally.

Add 2 T. margarine and 7 marshmallows (quartered) and cook 5 minutes. Stir to keep from bubbling over.

Add 1 teas. vanilla and cook 1 minute 35 seconds. Stir if necessary.

Add 1 1/2 C. broken pecans.

Beat. Test for thin threads dangling from spoon. Threads should follow spoon around pitcher. If not, cook 10-20 seconds more. Temperature on microwave thermometer should be at least 140º. Drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper under which dish towels have been spread.

If candy is too hard to spoon drop, add small amount of water and re-cook 20 seconds.

Sunny days are best for making this candy.
