1/2 yellow onion, roughly chopped
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
2 tsp freshly chopped parsley
1 tbsp cumin
1 egg
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup bread crumbs
salt and pepper
hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
In food processor, pulse onion and garlic until finely chopped. Add 1 can black beans, cilantro, parsley, cumin, egg and red pepper flakes and pulse to combine.

Transfer mixture to mixing bowl. Add remaining can of black beans and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.

Form mixture into patties. Grill over medium-low heat about 6 minutes per side or until heated through.
