4 Medium sized potatoes
1 medium size onion (chopped fine)
1 1/2 C. boiling water
2 T. margarine or butter
3 C. milk
salt
pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Peel and dice potatoes. Cook potatoes and onion in boiling water until tender. Mash and return to water cooked in. Scald milk. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper to potatoes and re-heat.

Add bits of fried bacon if desired.
