1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. tomato juice or tomato sauce (I use sauce)
3/4 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 egg or 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Heat oven 350ºF. Combine all ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Press into a loaf pan. Bake 1 hour to medium doneness (not pink in the center). Drain off juices and serve. Roughly 8 servings.
