1 cup sugar
1 cup raw peanuts
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients in large Pyrex 8 minutes on high setting. (I use a batter bowl.) Remove from microwave and add butter and vanilla. Stir. Cook one more minute on high. Add soda and pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. Cool and break into pieces.

This recipe came from David's mom. I'm pretty sure it's the way my Grandma Walch made it too, once we had microwaves. And I've even made it. It tastes great and is pretty simple to make. Depending on the size cookie sheet, you can pour it as thick or thin as you want. You have to work fast though!
