1 beef brisket (2-4 lb.)
3 garlic cloves, minced
salt and pepper
1 1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. yellow mustard
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tsp. beef bouillon
1 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, beef bouillon, and water in a sauce pan and heat until well combined then set aside.
Place half of the sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker. Salt and pepper both sides of the brisket and place in slow cooker. Lay the remaining onion slices on top of the brisket. Pour sauce over the brisket.
Cook on medium heat for 6 hours and turn down to low/medium heat for an additional 2 hours. Turn brisket once during cooking, may need to add more water at that point.

This is great for families who work and have busy kid schedules!! I prefer to cook this in a slow cooker, not a crock pot. The meat comes out much more tender. Slow cookers are great for tough meats like this and roasts.
