2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
3 cups grated raw carrots
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins, plumped in boiling water for 2 minutes

Icing:
1 11-oz pkg cream cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp butter
2 1/2 cups icing sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and eggs.

Sift flour, cinnamon, allspice, salt and baking powder together. Mix creamed and sifted ingredients together..

Then add oil, carrots, walnuts and raisins.

Bake in greased and floured 9x13-inch pan at 350º F for 50 minutes.

Whip icing ingredients until fluffy. Let cake cool and frost cake.
