Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2-lbs. round or shoulder arm steak
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6-oz. V-8 ® juice
3-oz. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into serving-sized pieces. Rub flour and spices into steak with fingers. Brown both sides slowly in shortening. Place in greased shallow baking dish. Pour mixture of V-8 juice and water over all meat. Cover tightly and bake in slow 300° F oven for 1 1/2 hours. Serve meat in its own gravy.
*In order to coat the meat easier, Sue puts the flour and spices into a bag and shakes them. Then drops in one piece of meat at a time, and press the flour mixture into the meat. It's easier with less mess—just throw the bag away!
