Ingredients: Cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half Bocconcini (bite size) or Ciliegine (little cherry size) fresh mozzarella balls, cut in half Fresh basil leaves Balsamic Vinegar Toothpicks Kosher or sea salt (optional)

Directions:Building on your toothpick, spear half of a mozzarella ball (cut-side up), then add a basil leaf and finish off with a tomato half (cut-side down); arrange on serving platter; drizzle with balsamic vinegar; sprinkle with kosher or sea salt, if desired. |

Notes: You can make as many of these as you want, but if you buy a regular size container of mozzarella balls and a pint of tomatoes, it usually makes around 44 individual appetizers and you will have a few tomatoes left over. I plan for at least 4 per person. If you want leftovers, you will need to sneak some to the side before serving :-)
