2 sticks margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups plain flour
Chopped Pecans

Separate egg yolk and white and beat separately. Cream margarine and sugar well. Add in egg yolks and blend. Add in flour and mix. Spread batter on Teflon coated or parchment lined large jelly roll pan. Cover with beaten egg white. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped pecans over egg white. Press nuts in with the back of a spoon. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Cool 2-3 minutes. Cut into squares and remove from pan.
