3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate and cocoa (regular baking cocoa is fine but not as good)
1 cup dried cranberries
3/4 chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 375º
Combine first 8 ingredients in a big mixing bowl. Then add 3/4 cup of butter, 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla.
Mixed until completely blended.
Shape the mix by rounded tablespoon into balls and place 2" apart on greased or parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 13-15 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.

This is a great cookie to give as a gift. In a wide mouth quart-size canning jar, layer the sugar, ground chocolate, cranberries, chocolate chips, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, flour, pressing firmly between layers.
