1 stick of butter
2 cups of confectioner's sugar
1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 Tbsp lemon zest (whole lemon)

Directions:
Directions:
Using a mixer, beat the butter until fluffy. Add confectioner's sugar and vanilla, continue to mix until smooth. Zest whole lemon and mix with buttercream. Squeeze lemon and add juice to mixture. Set for a few minutes and then frost your favorite cake. (Makes 2 cups)
