2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs
3 cups finely grated raw carrots
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup salad oil
2 cups sugar

Orange Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp margarine
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oil and sugar - mix well. Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Combine dry mix with oil and sugar mixture. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add carrots and mix thoroughly. Mix in nuts. Pour mixture into lightly oiled 10" tube pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour 10 minutes. Cool. Split into three horizontal layers and spread with orange glaze between layers, on top, and sides.

Orange Glaze:
Combine first 4 ingredients (sugar, cornstarch, orange juice and lemon juice). Stir until smooth. Add margarine and salt. Cook over low heat until thick and glossy. Cool.
