Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves cut in strips
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 c. water
1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
1 -10-3/4 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup,
undiluted
1 can -4oz mushrooms, drained
Hot cooked rice or pasta ~ I suggest angel hair pasta.

Serves 4

Directions:
Directions:
Place the chicken in a slow cooker. Combine salad dressing mix and water; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. (*I blend the soup and cream cheese in the blender with a cup or less of the hot liquid out of the crock pot) Pour over chicken. Stir in mushrooms. Cook 1 hour longer or until chicken juices run clear. Serve over pasta or rice.

Personal Notes:
I double the amount of chicken and seasoning (not the cream cheese or soup) and it is perfect for serving 8-10 people. There is lots of "sauce" with this dish as the chicken creates a lot of it's own juices. I also cook the chicken on high in the crock pot, but put it on low after adding the cream cheese mixture.
