4 large green apples,
1 c. all-purpose flour,
1 c. sugar,
1 tsp. baking powder,
1 tsp. salt,
1 egg,
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Directions:
Put apples in glass pie plate. Mix dry ingredients; add beaten egg, mixing thoroughly. Mixture will be dry and crumbly. Spoon over apples. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Bake 45 minutes at 375º
