2 tablespoons oil
1 1/3 cups water

Directions:
Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mix until moistened. Then turn into a greased 5 quart slow cooker. Place 5 paper towels on top of slow cooker to catch any condensation. Cover with lid, place a wooden toothpick between paper towels and lid so a little steam can escape. Cook on high setting for 2 hours, do not uncover while cooking. Loosen sides of bread with knife. Turn out onto wire rack. Best hot from slow-cooker, topped with lots of butter.

Personal Notes:
Debbie's grandmother made this wonderful bread. This is so easy to make. It's not a sweet bread, just a good brown bread.
