1 1/2 lb. medium shrimp, cleaned

1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 C. butter, divided
2 cloves garlic
1 C. dry red or white wine

Directions:
Dip each cleaned shrimp in beaten eggs, and then roll in flour-salt-pepper mixture for a light coating. Heat 2 Tbsp. butter in skillet. Place shrimp in skillet, one at a time over medium low heat. Cook until a light golden color, turning once. Cook 3 minutes per side. As shrimp are done, remove and drain on paper towels. As butter is absorbed, add more to skillet. Once all shrimp are done, add the remaining butter, garlic cloves (peeled and crushed) and the wine. Simmer for about 5 minutes with a lid on the skillet. Place shrimp in pan and heat with sauce 3-5 minutes. Serves 4.
