1.5 lbs. ground chuck (You can also add cooked Italian sausage, chicken, etc.)
1 medium onion chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
Handful of chopped parsley
1 tsp. capers
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 large can tomato paste
2 large cans hot water (use crushed tomato can)
2 tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Salt and pepper to taste
Pinch of sugar

In Dutch oven pot, brown ground chuck and drain. Return meat to pot and add rest of ingredients and bring to boil. Lower to a bubbling simmer and cook sauce for 3 1/2 to 4 hours until thick.
