2 lbs lean ground beef
1 onion chopped
2 cups frozen carrot & peas
2 lbs potatoes
1/2 cup sour cream
1 stick butter
1/2 cup red wine or beef broth
1 tsp worcheshire sauce
salt, pepper and seasonings of choice(thyme is good)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and boil potatoes in salted water until tender. While potatoes cook, Saute onions in 1/2 stick butter and add seasoned ground beef, worcheshire sauce, wine or broth. Add carrots and peas. Cook over low heat uncovered about 10 minutes. Mash potatoes with remaining butter and sour cream. Place meat mixture in casserole dish. Top with potato mixture using fork or spatula to make peaks. Bake in 400 degree over until brown. May broil for few minutes if necessary to brown.
