1 1/4 cup sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 beaten egg
1 cup milk
2 tbsp oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk, and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Stir just until flour is moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Bake on hot griddle.Use 1/4 cup measure to dip batter, or a tablespoon for small pancakes. Turn pancakes when top side is bubbly and a few bubbles have broken. Flip only once.

This is from a Betty Crocker cookbook that I won in 1962 when I sold the most cookbooks for our homemaking class. The recipe works well even without Teddy Bear pancake molds.
